先日の薪窯での焼成の器の一部。今回は窯の中の温度も場所によってばらつきがあり、一部温度が上がりきらなかった場所のものは、釉薬が解け切りませんでした。(写真ではあまり見えませんが右手前のちいさな湯のみが解けてないものです。)
ということで、やはり薪窯の難しさを痛感できました。そしてその魅力も改めて感じました。
奥の2点は、12月6日に参加できることになった、セラミックのワークショップ でのクリスマスマーケット( Julmarknad och Tomteverkstad! at Lerverket http://www.lerverket.se/ )にも出す予定です。
Some results from the last wood firing. This time there seemed to be a range of difference of temperature in one part to another inside the kiln. As a result, some pots are firied successfully, and some were underfired. (The small tea cup at right hand in the front raw in the pic is the example of underfired piece.) I learned how difficult it is to fire wood kiln again, and also attracted by the beauty of it in both process and result.
